PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) and PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) are made from a small sample of your own blood. Both concentrate platelets and growth factors that can support collagen production and skin renewal. PRF also contains a fibrin matrix that releases growth factors more gradually.

The nickname comes from using your own blood-derived plasma during facial rejuvenation treatments, often combined with microneedling.

PRP or PRF can be used with microneedling, injected into targeted areas such as fine lines or under-eye hollows, or added to laser, mesotherapy, and RF microneedling treatments to support healing and recovery.

Because they are prepared from your own blood, allergic reactions are uncommon. Temporary redness, swelling, bruising, or tenderness can occur. Proper sterile technique and an experienced medical provider are especially important because these treatments involve blood handling and needles.
